A Care Facility?
Moving into a care facility loomed as another option for Diana and Roger, but neither of them found it appealing, especially at their age. They still had a zest for life, a bucket list of experiences waiting to be checked off, and they weren’t ready to trade it all for the confines of a care facility they might only need later in life.
So, with that option off the table, they found themselves at a crossroads, pondering their next move. Should they hold onto their house as an investment for the future? Should they turn to their children for support? Or should they stick to their original plan, forging ahead with determination and creativity to chart their course in retirement?

A Touchy Subject
The passage of time hit Diana and Roger hard. They couldn’t wrap their heads around how quickly the years had passed. So many dreams and adventures still beckoned, yet the reality of their age weighed heavily on their spirits.
For Diana, in particular, the realization was bittersweet. Though she knew she had some good years left, she couldn’t shake the feeling that her best days were behind her. But rather than succumbing to despair, she resolved to inject some excitement into her life.
In a bold move to keep things lively, Diana stepped into a risky situation, determined to squeeze every drop of joy and adventure out of the time she had left.

Caring For Everyone Else
Diana had always dreamed of exploring Europe and seeing the world’s wonders, but life had different plans. She said “I do” shortly after high school, and not long after, she welcomed her first child into the world.
From then on, her days were filled with the joys and responsibilities of motherhood and homemaking. Diana dedicated herself wholeheartedly to caring for her family, often forgetting to prioritize her dreams and desires.
As the years passed, she couldn’t help but wonder what adventures she might have had if she had pursued her passion for travel instead of settling into domestic life.
