How To Remove Glitter Nail Polish Once And For All

In our humble view, glitter nail paint should be worn every day of the year. However, unlike that one neighbor who keeps their Christmas lights up until March, glittering nail polish doesn’t look out of place after the holidays. Even if you’ve turned your fingertips into tiny disco balls, it’s hard not to feel festive.

The glittering bits of glitter polish hide any stains, making it simple to apply but difficult to take off. All of the sparkles may not always come out, even after several passes with a nail paint remover.

In a desperate attempt, you can scrape glitter off with a cuticle pusher, but doing so can harm your nail.

How To Remove

To keep your nails strong and healthy, it’s essential to take the time to remove glitter polish properly. The top layers of the nail bed get damaged if you pick on the glitter, which will harm your nail. Otherwise, you risk irritating the cuticles and sides of your nails if you rub vigorously to remove the glitter.

Cotton

However, glitter nail paint can be safely removed at home. Cut a cotton ball into ten pieces, soak the pieces in acetone or nail paint remover, and then place one cotton piece on top of each nail for two to three minutes before gently pressing down to remove the glitter varnish.

You can wrap the cotton pieces with foil to keep them in place.

Peel Off Nail Paints.

You might apply temporary base coats that peel off to simplify the removal procedure. Given that they are only intended for brief use, these work best for just one or two nights. Nevertheless, you must use a base coat to serve as a divider between your nail and the polish to stop the glitter from damaging your nails and scratching them.
