Like Mother, Like Son
Brad was caught off guard by the unexpected response. Kimberly offered a sympathetic smile, attempting to ease the tension with a puzzled expression.
Brad let out an audible sigh to make himself heard, hoping to convey his frustration. But Brenda was as determined as her unruly child, Alex. Despite Brad’s plea, she remained resolute. And as Alex continued his disruptive kicking, it was evident that Brenda’s stubbornness was unshakeable.
Brad exchanged a resigned glance with Kimberly, realizing he might need to find another way to address the situation. With Alex showing no signs of stopping, Brad braced himself for a long, trying journey ahead.

Boiling Frustration
As Alex’s kicks grew more relentless, Brad felt his patience wearing thin. The rhythmic thuds of frustration echoed his inner turmoil.
With a deep breath to steady himself, Brad pivoted in his seat, ready to try a new tactic. Would he manage to get through to the stubborn mother? He mustered his most persuasive tone, hoping to appeal to her sense of reason.
The situation couldn’t go on like this, and Brad was determined to find a solution, even if it meant trying a different approach with the obstinate mother.

That’s It
Feeling somewhat frustrated by Brenda’s apparent indifference, Brad felt compelled to take matters into his own hands.
Leaning over the seatback, he adopted a gentle tone as he addressed the child directly. “Hey, buddy,” Brad began, hoping to appeal to the child’s empathy, “do you mind giving my seat a break? It’s not just me; everyone around is uncomfortable with all the kicking.”
Despite his irritation at Brenda’s lack of intervention, Brad focused on resolving the immediate issue with diplomacy. He knew that getting into a confrontation wouldn’t solve anything, so he opted for a calm and reasoned approach. Hopefully, the child would respond positively and end the disruptive behavior.
