No Way
“Ma’am, please,” Kimberly pleaded, her desperation evident, but Brenda remained absorbed in her magazine, seemingly unfazed. It felt like talking to a brick wall.
“Please, just tell us what we can do to stop this. We’ll do anything,” Kimberly implored, her desperation growing with each passing moment.
Brenda glanced up briefly, her response cutting and cold. “You can mind your own business and stop speaking to me and my son,” she retorted, her tone unwavering.
Kimberly’s heart sank at Brenda’s refusal to engage. She was adamant about maintaining her bubble, even if it meant disregarding everyone else’s discomfort on the plane.

Turbulence
As the turbulence rocked the plane, the boy’s laughter and shouts of “we” only added to the chaos. The seatbelt sign flashed on, signaling everyone to buckle up.
“Good afternoon, passengers. We’re encountering some turbulence. Please remain seated and fasten your seatbelts. It’ll pass soon,” the intercom crackled, offering little comfort to the frazzled travelers.
With each jolt of the plane, nerves frayed, and tensions soared. What started as a routine flight had morphed into a nightmare, with the turbulence amplifying the already unbearable situation.
Amidst the rattling and shaking, Kimberly and Brad exchanged helpless looks, realizing there was no escaping the turmoil inside and outside the cabin.

Over The Edge
With each jolt of the plane, the boy’s enthusiastic “we” grated on Brad’s nerves, pushing him past his breaking point. He hastily unbuckled his seatbelt and rose from his seat, only to be halted by a stern warning from an air hostess in the distance.
Feeling trapped between frustration and compliance, Brad reluctantly sank back into his seat, his sense of powerlessness weighing heavily on him. He attempted to find a comfortable position, but the relentless kicks from the boy had taken a toll on his back, leaving him sore and achy.
As the turbulence continued to rock the plane, Brad resigned himself to endure the chaos, silently wishing for some reprieve from the relentless ordeal.
