A Big Myth About Skin Care Products For Kids

Families are looking for ways to save on regular expenses as inflation drives up prices. Having your own brand in the bathroom can be comforting for everyone, but products for babies and kids can be pricey. Especially if the kids squeeze body wash from bottles on their own, you may run through products quickly if you give multiple kids daily baths.

Difference Of Kid And Adult Products

According to Dr. Jen Trachtenberg, a board-certified pediatrician, there are no specific guidelines. Is there a difference between kids’ and adult products? “It largely depends on the product and those main ingredients,” Dr. Jessica Hui of National Jewish Health said. There is little to no difference.

Kids and adults may have different ingredients. Trachtenberg said many kids’ products are like adult formulations but with vibrant packaging and child-friendly scents. The fact that it is marketed as a child-friendly product does not necessarily mean it is better. Despite their more sensitive and thinner skin, babies and kids shouldn’t use products that say “baby” on them.
