In the days of not as many Bigfoot sightings, and most strange creature sightings being debunked left and right, there may be a new sighting that just can not be explained. Argentina seems to have its own half dog-half man creature, referred to as a demon dog, and it is setting the internet a buzzing.
With the only evidence being that of very blurry photos, the creature looks like something straight out of a Hollywood horror movie. One would think in this day of HD cameras on cell phones, one might have gotten a better shot, but unfortunately, this is all we have to work with.
Locals have reported that the creature had no problem taking down both a pit bull and a German shepherd. Those who are skeptical state the first clue is that two of the strongest, most able to hold their own in a fighting breed of dogs was taken down with such ease. It would seem that the supposed demon dog is very strong and very agile to boot.
Locals who have claimed to have seen the demon dog stated that it was at least seven feet tall. If you look at the picture and use the door to put it all into perspective, the creature appears to be closer to about four feet tall. It may be close to seven feet if it stands on its back legs, but that is about the only way.
What is disturbing about this picture, is that the creature cannot be soundly connected with any known animal. Speculation is that the picture is of a Great Dane, that may or may not be rabid. If rabid, it would explain its supposed ability to take down both a pit bull and a German shepherd. However, it does not account for the creatures apparent webbed feet.
Others say that if you look at concept art from the Harry Potter films, that the image matches almost exactly, proving that the report is a hoax.
Although many are making light of the picture, one individual posted of his own run-in with a similar creature.
“I saw one of those things in Va in 2005, it was crossing a bridge and we came upon it. It blew my mind because it looked at us and turned and began moving just like a kangaroo would and cleared the concrete bridge wall easily and dropped at least 15 to 20 feet. Haven’t and hope I don’t see it again.”
So, what do you think—real or photoshopped? We may just have to classify this one with other weird sightings. We may never really know what this creature is or is not. And that is kinda scary in itself huh?
