Card Game Company Buys Land To Block Trump’s Border Wall

Cards Against Humanity, a trendy and hilarious card game, especially among Millennials, is offering customers an early holiday gift and an opportunity to stand up against one of Donald Trump’s most infamous ideas, a giant wall along the Mexican border.

On Tuesday, Cards Against Humanity announced six days of gifts they are offering to customers this holiday season. The first gift is the chance to contribute $15 toward a plan to buy a piece of land along the U.S.-Mexico border in order to block Trump’s plan of building a massive wall across the border.

For their $15, the company says customers will receive a map of the land they buy, several new playing cards, a signed promise that they are dedicated to fighting the wall, and “a few other surprises.”

“Donald Trump is a preposterous golem who is afraid of Mexicans,” the company said in a statement. “He is so afraid that he wants to build a twenty-billion-dollar wall that everyone knows will accomplish nothing. So we’ve purchased a plot of vacant land on the border and retained a law firm specializing in eminent domain to make it as time-consuming and expensive as possible for the wall to get built.”

The exact location of the land Cards Against Humanity has purchased is not yet clear. However, the company says it is several “acres” along the border. With a plot of land and a law firm with expertise in fighting eminent domain, the game company could at least provide a substantial roadblock for Trump’s wall, assuming the project gets started in the first place.

The company has also created a spoof of their plan in the video below.

Thus far, the plan has been a rousing success for Cards Against Humanity. After announcing the program Tuesday night, it had sold out of its gift package by Wednesday morning.

The good news for customers is that Cards Against Humanity has pledged five more days of gifts this holiday season. After pledging to stop Trump’s border wall, who knows what’s next.
